A unique painting was donated to Montevallo Animal Clinic on August 30, 2018. The painting was donated by Shelby County artist, Deb Gamel – but Gamel was not the original artist for this work. The unique painting was created by her beloved Border Collies, Abby and Jazz.
Gamel’s family lost two of their furry friends in late 2016 and early 2017 to heart disease and cancer. “The doctors and staff at the Montevallo Animal Clinic showed immeasurable care and compassion and left us forever grateful,” says Gamel. “We had never seen such compassion out of the 5-10 vet offices we visited over the past 25 years. It’s no wonder their waiting room is always running over.”
To show her appreciation for the care that she and her family received, Gamel donated the 36"x45" framed canvas work.
